As PR Assistant, Jamie Leon provides account team support, through media pitching and coordination, coverage tracking, strategic research and resource allocation that help clients derive the most value from their public relations goals.  She is also responsible for a variety of agency activities and client tracking.

Jamie’s previous experience includes an internship with Red Bull North America, supporting the communications and media relations team and a position as the restaurant review columnist and contributing writer for SMU’s Daily Campus. While in college, she also gained valuable public relations experience from internships with a Dallas-based tutoring and mentoring company, an international food distributor and a furnishings and design association.

One standout public relations project in college gained her unique notice from Theatre Three in Dallas. Jamie’s marketing and communications project to design fundraising collateral for future and existing donors was selected among other non-profit communications students for use by the theatre.

She graduated Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University in May of 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communication and public affairs with a minor in philosophy. While attending SMU, she started a Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter and served as president, planning, organizing, motivating and leading 66 members in their pursuit of a public relations career. She was also a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Kappa Tau Alpha Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Upon graduation, she was recognized with the Outstanding Corporate Communications Student in non-profit management award.
