Robyn Brown marks anniversary with multiple achievements, contributions to agency

HOWE, TX, May 26, 2011 – Brooks & Associates Public Relations, Inc., a full-service agency offering strategic communications programs to its clients nationwide, celebrates today Account Executive Robyn Brown’s fifth anniversary with the firm.  Hired in May 2006, Brown has risen from PR assistant to account executive overseeing services to multiple organizations within Microsoft, one of the agency’s largest and longest held accounts.  In addition, Brown serves as agency expert in social media, web development, and media and analyst relations for multiple other accounts, including SMU Cox School of Business and Alignment, Inc.

Since beginning her career with the agency, Brown has drawn recognition for her work in a variety of ways.  In 2010 she was recognized for her efforts on the Microsoft PR campaign, “Social Media Goes Mainstream in Oil & Gas,” with awards from the American Marketing Association Houston Chapter and the International Association of Business Communicators Dallas Chapter.

In addition, Brown is highly recognized in her community for her long-standing work with the Girl Scouts of the USA as a troop leader, program consultant, public relations specialist and day camp assistant director.  In 2010 she was awarded the Outstanding Leader Award and has supported the Girl Scout service unit team with two consecutive Presidents Awards.
